Thursday Finds
Some of these yarns were rescued from the free bins at a Delaware shop. Others were carded and spun from dog's hair in the Iowa Amana Colonies. Diagonal rib knitting places them throughout the finished hat, worn with pride by its crafty author, whose coordinating scarf was a gift from her father.
It's all in the finishing touches.

Kickin' Knoxville
On her way to East Nashville for Open Road Artists is the multi-talented Camilla O'Neal and her trunk show of amazing, vintage, cowgirl boots. The Chattanoogan caught up to her in Knoxville and was impressed by how well this Wyoming native remixed a Blue Bird embroidered, pearl snap, western blouse with another, one-of-kind find, a tweed waistcoat by Land Cooper that she found at an English horse show.
