at Tanner Hill Gallery

Mary Barnett's photodocumentary And The Iron Did Swim opened last night at the Tanner Hill Gallery, a stone's throw from the site of its subject, a U.S. Pipe and Foundary plant. More than a year in the making, images both journalistic and abstract tell the story of industrial decline. If you were not present, please find the time to visit this remarkable installation. Here are but a few highlights from the smartly dressed crowd.

What I like about these photos is the little details I can see when I click them to enlarge....the first girl's on-trend neon pink belt which nips in her waist, the cowboy boots on the lovely lady in the 2nd photo (and I know your affection for a good cowboy boot!), the "Rock Star" belt on the 3rd guy....
