Don't bury me in this prairie Take me where the cement grows Let's move down to some big town Where they love a gal by the cut o' her clothes And I'll stand out In buttons and bows
She looks fabulous Cameron. I love that bow detail on her skirt and the buttons just make it "pop". p.s. I note you are getting people to put their bags/bottles of water etc down so that it doesn't "clutter" up the photo as sometimes bags of shopping etc can do. I do this as well but am paranoid that someone is going to run off with their bag OR worst still, that they think I will run off with their things! I guess it is less of a concern in Chattanooga than in the middle of ?London!!
Ha! My laptop rests in its stealthy, nondescript shopping bag on the pavement behind me. Drop that bad habbit, right now! BTW, are you finding that the stylish folk are often spotted at great distance? She stood out in the crowd waiting to cross the street, a good 200 feet away, giving me lots of time to gin up the nerve to approach her;) There is certain something, confidence perhaps, in the way some carry themselves.
Finally I am back :) Just catching up on all your blog posts. I am terribly guilty of leaving my handbag behind me on the ground as well...I guess I do it 1. because it interferes with manoverability and 2. I want the subject to feel "safe" setting down their handbag... Yep, I definitely do spot people at a distance....and sometimes they are just TOO FAST for me to catch them up!!! A lot of people walk with GREAT HASTE in London it appears! I need to take longer strides I think :)
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening. Coco Chanel
