Sunday's email brought notification of The Chattanoogan's 27,100th page view. Yes, even in my absence, the clicks carry on to the tune of three per day. Such evergreen popularity is flattering and this lovely Monday afternoon gave me ample opportunity to return the favor. From the North Shore to St. Elmo, inspiring looks were everywhere to be seen.

Lasting Style: Keds

First called plimsolls, this classic design dates from Victorian England. Just about everyone in America has worn Keds in her or his life. She finds them comfortable throughout long walks in Chattanooga and they have become her signature look. Bracelet colors coordinate with a print sundress from a time out of mind.

It's a good day that begins with a stylish encounter before 9am. Hat and laceless Chucks will see him through the heat later today.

The world seems to be divided between those who thrift and those who do not. Lucky is she who found this red polka dotted dress in Texas and the crocheted bolero at the local Goodwill. Even her cruiser came with a past.

Brilliant spring weather heralded the reopening of Chattanooga's much missed pedestrian bridge Friday and today's second crossing gave me this colorful subject. Be sure to save the date of May 16th for the bicycle fashion show Collective Commute.
