Southside Looks

It pleases me that no one person has appeared most
often in these postings. That distinction is shared by
three remarkable individuals: a sculptor, a clothing
designer and this lady, whose work for Green Spaces
earned Tennessee's first L.E.E.D. Platinum certification.
The time has come to thank all of you for making this
project rewarding in so many ways. Blogging is the new
journalism and Chattanooga has prepared me well to
celebrate sartorial expression, creativity and sustainable
practices in our new home, Atlanta.

Snowfall

Yellow

Don't put away those cardigans quite yet. Most of the eastern US lies beneath a rain cloud that promises to dampen Chattanooga for days to come. Her wet-look yellow boots strike a defiant note in a Main Street pool.

Bicycles

Her thrifted, 1960's house slippers, skirt reclaimed from a pillow cover and bicycle are living the mantra: 'reduce, reuse, recycle'.

Business attire for the southside means a Diesel inside out dress and cords with cashmere.
