Not all of the art on Frazier Avenue is found in
boutiques and galleries. Some of it may be seen
strolling past the shop windows. Her choice of
geometric print unites the denim and boots.

One Year Ago...

Collective Clothing opened its doors in St. Elmo.
At last Chattanooga had a proper, vintage
clothing shop. Moreover, The Chattanoogan
found marvelous collaborators in Travis and
Sondra Aten. From Dance: The Hunger Fight
to MAINx24 and Collective Commute, these
kids have brought so much style life to life in our
town. Drop by the store Sunday to help them
celebrate their first anniversary.

Bold Creativity

One's rule broken is another's successful mashup. The blue and gold work well together, with white forming a small, repetitive pattern above and becoming the background to a grand scale abstraction below. Coordinating toenail polish and sandals finish the look. Well done!

Its fun to find yet another couple whose graphics
and scarves complement each other. She hails
from Chile, he from Nashville.

Chic Cycling in Chattanooga

The rains abated just long enough for us to hold
the show out of doors as planned. The crowd still
outnumbered the models, whose vintage looks
from Collective Clothing were enhanced by the
handiwork of Elea Blake and Salon Epiphany.

Ride your bike to Outdoor Chattanooga Sunday for the 4pm fashion show, Collective Commute: Chic Cycling in Chattanooga. You don't have to be a model to join them in a parade through Coolidge Park and over the Walnut Street Bridge for an after party at Big River.

Black and White Style

The yellow bow in her upcycled skirt by LEO
and white tires of the mocha city bike cut a dash
on Frazier Avenue.

Brazilian Boots

LEO provided the vintage Aigner handbag.
Collective Clothing resold the Brazilian
boots and Wayfarer shades. Her thrifted belt
complements a retro dress by Urban Outfitters.

DoGood

The green bandana shows that he's down with
Dog Friendly Chattanooga. His crew have pledged
to pick it up and will encourage others to do the
same. Their goal is a Walnut Street Pedestrian
Bridge that everyone may enjoy.
